Lifespan of sperm and ovum
24.10.2016
An egg lives for about 12-24 hours after ovulation and sperm, under ideal conditions, can live for five to seven days.
Ideally, once you see a positive ovulation test, you should have frequent contacts (for 3 consecutive days), so there are many spermatozoa waiting to fertilize the egg once it is released.
The woman's egg is only one, but the man with a single ejaculation frees millions of sperm, so with frequent contacts you create a very good stock!
